Clinically, this tartrate of Antimony and Potash is useful in the treatment of respiratory diseases involving rattling of mucous with little expectoration. It is used in the diseases where bronchial tubes are overloaded with mucus. Emphsyema in aged people call for this remedy. It is also indicated in conditions like Cholera morbus in which drowsiness, debility and sweating is extremely marked.

The preparation is of utmost importance in Bilharziasis due to its oxidising action on the parasite. It is very useful in retching, nausea and vomiting. In cases complicated by violent pain in sacro-lumbar region with the sensation of heavy weight at the coccyx, Antimonium tartaricum has proved its efficacy.

Warts on the glans penis can be treated by Antimonium tartaricum. Also, Antimonium tartaricum is homoeopathic in cases of dysuria, strangury, haematuria, albuminuria, catarrh of bladder and urethra.
