This preparation is indicated in intestinal indigestion with pain in the intestinal canal commencing almost an hour after eating. Also, very effective in diarrhoea of children where the stool contains undigested particles of fat. Clinically, it has been of great service in Diabetes, mumps, gout and diseases of pancreas. It is also used for treating atonic dyspepsia which occurs due to impaired secretion or defective composition of the digestive enzymes secreted. It can also correct the dyspepsia resulting from abnormal digestion of food.
