Description

Teething or odontiasis is the phenomena accompanying the growth of teeth through the gums. In most cases, teething begins between 4 – 7 months of age. The 20 milk teeth are usually in place by the age of 3 years. It is normally characterized by signs like swollen, tender gums, crying and fussy baby, slight fever, desire to chew on things, drooling, coughing, changes in eating or sleeping patterns, etc. It is considered abnormal when the child develops symptoms like diarrhoea, vomiting, rashes on the body, higher fever, cough or congestion, where it requires a proper treatment. Action of Ingredients: Calcarea phosphorica: It is especially indicated in tardy or slow dentition and the problems of that period. There is slow development of teeth and their rapid decay. Frequent vomiting in infants who want to nurse all the time, diarrhoea from juicy fruits, green, slimy, hot, sputtering, undigested stools with fetid flatus (cholera infantm). Ferrum phosphoricum: Indicated for complaints during dentition especially with fever. Toothache always appear after eating food, worse from warm drinks and better by cold.
