Description

Gastritis is the term used for inflammation of the mucous membrane of the stomach. It can occur as an acute episode or may be a chronic presentation. Causes include irritation due to stress, vomiting, alcohol abuse, anti-inflammatory drugs, H. Pylori infection, bile reflux, etc. Symptoms include nausea, bloating in abdomen, abdominal pain, vomiting, burning in epigastrium (heartburn), etc. Dyspepsia/indigestion is the inability to digest or difficulty in digestion. It is characterized by epigastric pain which is related to hunger, eating specific foods or time of day, with bloating, fullness after meals, etc. Action of Ingredients: Natrum phosphoricum: Nat-phos is the remedy for ailments with excess of acidity. There is sour taste, sour eructations and sour vomiting. Flatulence with sour riisings and greenish diarrhoea indicates this remedy. The characteristic tongue has yellow, creamy coating. Natrum sulphuricum: Suited to weak, asthenopic literary people with weak digestion and constipation, are worse in the morning and suffer from periodic headaches and hoarseness. Silicea: It is indicated when there are sour eructations after eating with painful pit of stomach. Abdomen is hard, bloated with colicky pain and rumbling in bowels. Vomiting after drinking.
