Quercus robur:

It is indicated for chronic spleen affections and spleen dropsy. It antidotes effects of alcohol and takes away the craving or desire. For the bad effects of chronic alcoholism when the spleen and liver are enlarged, breath is foul, eyes are yellow, there is evidence of gout and marked giddiness.

For dropsy and Liver disorders and Fistula in alcoholics. Affected persons have flushed state and are exceedingly nervous. Useful in Gout, old malarial cases with flatulence. Heart is irregular, there may be pain in pit of stomach, tottering gait and quivering of hands. Patients who are nervous, depressed, glum, easily moved to tears and unable to state their own case.
