Oleum morrhuae:

Oleum morrhuae is internally a nutrient and a hepatic and pancreatic remedy. It is indicated well in the cases of atrophy of infants and locally in ringworm. It is of utmost importance in Tuberculosis in the beginning where the cough is dry, hacking and tickling especially at night. Also, soreness in the chest is one of the main complaint ameliorated by this drug.

The preparation is also used in chronic rheumatism with rigid muscles and tendons with characteristic burning in palms.
